Fay Gervasoni
Fay Gervasoni

Member of the Executive Committee

Fay was the Evatt Foundation’s Deputy Director from 1994 to 1999 and then the office administrator, prior to her retirement in 2003.

Before working for Evatt, Fay was the co-ordinator of the annual conferences for the Industry Superannuation Funds, attended by delegates from all over Australia, trustees, fund managers and investment managers. From 1991 to 1994 she worked at the ACTU offices in Melbourne, where she assisted in the formation of the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees, set up to be an education facility for fund trustees.

From 1989 to 1991, Fay owned and operated a restaurant in Bulli, NSW, running it from her historic house and dedicating the restaurant to the coal miners of the south coast. Before the restaurant, she worked for many state and federal politicians. Fay retired to Launceston to be near her daughter and grandaughter, from where she has launched Tasmania's Evatt Community Forums. She is also a member of the Tasmanian Women's Council within Department of the Premier and Cabinet.
