Warwick McDonaldMember of the Executive CommitteeWarwick consults to various private sector and public sector clients on productive and equitable workplace relations.
Warwick was previously Director General of the NSW Department of Industrial Relations, Acting General Manager of the NSW WorkCover Authority and Chair of the Dust Diseases Board. He was President of the Industrial Relations Society of NSW between 2001 and 2003, and is also a member of the Advisory Board of ACIRRT at the University of Sydney. He taught industrial relations at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management between 2002 and 2006". He was a senior official of several NSW unions that became the NSW Branch of the Australian Services Union (ASU) in 1989. Previously, Warwick was Assistant Director of the Clyde Cameron College, the national residential training college of the Trade Union Training Authority (TUTA). Earlier in his career he was an Industrial Officer with the Public Service Association and a Federal Research Officer of the Miscellaneous Workers' Union. Warwick holds degrees in Economics and Industrial Relations from the University of Sydney. Warwick lives with his partner, the writer Chris Williams, at Coolum on the Sunshine Coast.
