Mark McGrath

Mark McGrath
Mark McGrath

Member of the Executive Committee

Mark is a Director of Social Change Media and acts as a communications consultant for unions and other non-profit organisations.

Before becoming a Director for Social Change Media in May 2003 and since 1999, he worked for sister company Social Change Online as a web consultant, specialising in developing web strategies for the union movement. Mark currently divides his time between Social Change Online and Social Change Media. He has presented at several national and international conferences on the issue of unions and the Internet and has a degree in Media & Communications from the University of New South Wales. He has managed and won several industrial campaigns as a workplace delegate and Executive Member of the NSW Theatrical Employees Union. He has also been both a campaign director and candidate for the Australian Labor Party (ALP) in state and federal elections. Mark likes to spend his time away from work going on outdoor adventures with his partner Emma, practising the not so gentle art of swing bowling on the park in summer and supporting the South Sydney Rabbitohs in winter.
