Elly Howse

Elly Howse is a public health researcher and an advocate for a fairer, healthier and more equal society. She is Research Manager and Senior Research Fellow with The Australian Prevention Partnership Centre, based at the Sax Institute in Sydney. She is also an Adjunct Fellow with the School of Public Health at UTS.

In addition to her work in public health, Elly has experience in federal and state politics. She has worked closely with federal and state ministers and MPs on a range of public policy issues. In 2019 she was Labor’s candidate for the seat of Balmain in the NSW election. Elly is also Vice-President of the NSW Fabians.

Elly was elected to the Executive Committee in 2019.
