Tanya fires up

Renowned for her composure, Labor's deputy leader, Tanya Plibersek, let fly in the House of Representatives on Thursday 30 March. Plibersek was talking about Margarita, a cleaner who was in the public gallery and had met members of the Labor Caucus that day, and who stands to lose $2,000 a year from the cut in penalty rates.

While Plibersek was speaking, the Liberal MP for Reid, Craig Laundy, called out 'I used to work Sundays'. Note that Laundy is the son of New South Wales hotel baron, a family that owns more than 30 hotels.
